Deletion is permanent
It cannot be undone. You leave your home and lose the shared wallet, items and membership benefits, which cannot be transferred. The same Apple or Google sign-in cannot register or sign in again. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
Delete in the app

Open Bondling and sign in
Use the Apple or Google sign-in linked to the account you want to delete.

Go to Me
Tap Me in the bottom navigation bar.

Choose Delete account
In the Account section, tap Delete account and read the confirmation.

Confirm
Tap Delete permanently. You are signed out on every device.
If you have withdrawn your consent to the Terms and Privacy Policy, Delete account is also available on the Legal documents and consent screen.
What happens to your home
- If you joined your partner's home, you leave it. Your partner keeps the Bondling, the home and its items.
- If you invited your partner, the pairing ends and your partner moves to a new, empty home of their own.
- Messages and other content you created in the home are removed, so your partner no longer sees them. Copies your partner saved outside Bondling are not affected.
What happens right away
- Your account is closed, every session is revoked and it can no longer sign in.
- Notification tokens for your devices are removed.
- Your email address, nickname, profile pictures, analytics choice and consent records are cleared.
- Your invitation code, answers and pairing-restore records are removed, and the pairing cannot be restored.
What is cleaned up afterwards
- A background process deletes your feedback and replies, check-in records, personal notifications and similar records.
- Photos, voice messages and other files you uploaded are deleted from our private storage, including stored earlier versions. This runs in the background and can take some time.
- Copies in backups, logs and caches are removed as those systems reach the end of their normal retention cycles.
What we keep
- A minimal record of the deleted account, including its internal ID, sign-in identifier and user ID, so the same sign-in cannot register again and store transactions can still be matched.
- Purchase orders, subscription and store notification records, wallet transaction amounts and refund records, for accounting, refunds and fraud prevention.
- Records of the deletion request, and security and audit logs.
- De-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
Things to do outside Bondling
Cancel any subscription in your App Store or Google Play account. Deleting your Bondling account does not cancel it or issue a refund.
To stop using your Apple Account with Bondling, manage Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
To remove Bondling's access to your Google Account, manage connected third-party apps in your Google Account.

Can't use the app, or want more deleted?
If you can no longer sign in, or you want us to delete other information we are not required to keep, such as the sign-in record held by our authentication provider, email us from the address linked to your account and include your user ID if you have it. We may ask for a little more information to confirm that the request comes from you.
Never send passwords, sign-in codes, store receipt secrets or full payment-card numbers.
